Owner and Coach
Meet Teresa Pilegaard
With years of experience developing strong foundations in riders, Teresa Pilegaard adapts the classical principles of training to your individual needs. In 2024 she deepened her commitment to rider development by incorporating biomechanics coaching for its powerful impact on both horse and human.
She is a Train Your Seat Equestrian Ball Certified Instructor, currently pursuing the 2-year Embodied Rider Biomechanics Diploma, and holds certification as a PATH International Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Teresa believes in the power of positive mindset, strategic planning, and consistent progress in and out of the saddle.
Teresa knows firsthand how hard it can be to find a coach who truly sees you as an individual. After her second C-section, her riding didn’t feel the same—and no one could explain why. She quickly realized that many trainers, while skilled, weren’t equipped to address the deep connection between rider asymmetry, movement, and balance. That experience sparked a passion. Too many riders struggled with physical and mental challenges that deeply impacted their riding—and too few trainers were able to help with both.
Now, she fills that gap.
Through her studies in
biomechanics, mental focus, and positive mindset, Teresa helps riders understand their bodies, retrain movement patterns, and ride with more ease and awareness. She brings students into the horse’s journey too—teaching them how to become active partners in their horse’s continued training, not just passengers in the process.
